Thanks. Here they are.

I just bought a Seagate 500gb external drive because I was running out of space. Paid $140 for it.

I got 100 Verbatim DVD-R at Buy.com for $8 after a $10 Google Checkout Discount and a $15 mail-in rebate. Free shipping too.

Right now they have them for $36 shipped, but you can still get the Google Checkout discount for $10 off. So, $26 shipped (no tax) for 100 isn't bad.

I got a few hundred Staples-brand DVD-Rs (16x) that (IIRC) show up as GQ discs for $6 per 50 pack with $5 coupon a while ago and recently ran out. I guess I'm using that as a benchmark before buying more...

Best Buy had some Sony 50 pk DVD-R 16x for ~$15 last weekend but now it's back at $30.

I've heard that some Verbatim media is now manufactured in India and the quality has really declined. Does it say where they were manufactured on the packaging?

I doubt you need to print out the ad if the deal is still going on. I got my 50 pack for $13 a while ago from OfficeMax, and it was advertised in their ad and the price was marked in the store. They seem to be working great. A few short pauses in SPM, but I don't know if that's due to the discs. A lot better than my FUJIFILM03 discs in any case.

Thanks for the great deal OP. I went in and bought 4 50-packs. They rang up as $34.99ea, and after checking with the manager I was good to go with the online price. Fantastic price for a killer brand.

EDIT: HOLY SHIT it was definitely a price mistake. Going online now results in $34.99ea in cart. Congrats to all who were able to take advantage of it.
