Can u give me some instructions to do this please
That is what this thread is. For NES, there is a post somewhere in here.
Can u give me some instructions to do this please
All you have to do is put more that one rom into a nes vc game. Almost any combination of NES and GB/C will work. You only get one save per virtual console game though. Can u give me some instructions to do this please
So wait: I can use ANY virtual console game out of the three, to play any of the three roms.
I have free copy of Super Mario Deluxe because nintendo gave it as a freebie if you linked your 3DS to NID early, which I did as a Wii U Owner. I am willing to try this stuff out but that is pretty much only game I am willing to throw my saves away in because I have the same game on cartridge (and several GBA's around too)
So if I can experiment GBA compatibility with this one (maybe with some of that force N3DS clock thing too) - I would be more thrilled than Michael Jackson video
I read that stuff but I am a man of "the least pain is least pain" - Should have specified that I am willing to throw the saves away in it for the luxury of not fucking around with saves.Yep. Keep in mind that you can also back saves up with sdvt I believe.

Probably have to do it anyway if I say; try an GB/C RPG and want to keep the saves with modified hack.
Is it yet possible to have multiple romhack folders for one title with HANS? Would rock if I could have multiple different roms for my one virtual console game and could easily pick and choose what to play with minimum pain in the arse.
Can you help me when I d this it says save data corrupted it its supposed to do that since it says this wipes the save but when it's deleting it it freezes
Hm, I'm almost ready to try this, but I have a little doubt here.
I'm trying to use VC Shantae (GBC) as base game for injection. After decompressing the romfs, inside the "rom" folder I have a file named CGBB3AE0.963 , with 4096KB size.
I need to replace this file with the desired ROM (in this case, Pokémon Crystal) and using this same filename?
Other thing I saw some pages ago, about trying to inject Mega Drive/Genesis games through SEGA 3D Classics. I have two of them (Sonic 1 and Streets of Rage 2), I can try it later if this wasn't tested yet.
Using the same filename isn't required. Also, to my knowledge no one has tried sega 3d classics injection yet, so let me know how it goes!
Reporting here, Pokémon Crystal injection on Shantae didn't worked well.
About Sega 3D Injection: I tried to inject Sonic 2 on Streets of Rage 2. Inside the file structure, there's a "roms" folder, which is for both Japan (J) and International (U) versions of the game (both versions are selectable on 3D Classics).

Then I replaced both archives with the Sonic2 Rom, even using the same filenames, repacked, deleted the first 1000 bytes, etc
So I booted the game through HANS, and even accessed the initial game menu, with all the configs. But when I choose to Start Game, then it freezes, no matter which version (International or Japan).
If anyone was curious, trying to inject into a 3D classics game (in my case is Kirby), which does have a rom folder, it just gives the black screen with the white pixels on the side as if you didn't hex edit. I wonder since it's an NES game originally if I need to edit that as well...
