Hacking using wifi in another country

i have a 4.0U wii and im in palastine (a country outside the U.S.A) and i want to keep it at 4.0U, any chance it will change any thing in the region or brick?

im trying to downgrade to 3.2U using Wifi

I don't think it would make a difference, but as long as you keep WiiConnect24 off and never manually tell it to update, your console shouldn't care. You should be able to still use the Shop too, since the shop doesn't care where you are, it cares what region your console is.

if you ony upgrade with homebrew tools then you can select the region.

anyway, let me ask a question: what region is sold in the middle-east?
is it Pal, north-american is out (ecept maybe in IsraHell).

First of all, Palestine isn't even a country.

Next, yes, it's completely safe. Since you have an American Wii, the Nintendo servers will treat you like you're in the USA.

I know this from personal experience, using an American Wii in Europe.

Well I was about to say that, I brought my Wii to Canada (from México of course), and now I have it connected to the internet here and only have a few changes, but that is becuase I change the settings of the Wii:

Country:
Mexico - to - Canada

So my Wii Shop Channel asked me if it was right, and all my answers on the Everybody Votes Channel were deleted cause now I count as a canadian opinion...!!

of course it's a fucking country, it's on maps going back to the days of jesus.

Don't want to stain this forum with too much politics, but someone apparently needs a history lesson.

The Palestinian territories, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, does not have souvereignity as a country. They never have; period. And by the current looks of it, I doubt they ever will; this as long as they let blood thirsty terrorist, unwilling of faltering an inch from their policy to showel the jews down in the ocean, lead them.

Israel on the other hand declared it's independence from the British Mandate of Palestine on May 14th, 1948. This was all sanctioned by the UN, and the international community.

Get your fucking facts right and don't just rant without connection to reality. Even Wikipedia has some correctness to it on this subject ...

Nintendo has no way of figuring out from where your Wii is connected, in the same way as computers normally don't. Of course, one could spot the address of the last NAT:ed router your bouncing through, geomap that IP with the help of existing databases of ip spread, but this isn't reliable. What if you go by proxy?

Anyways, Nintendo's servers give your Wii what itself asks for, not the other way around. This will especially be true since you'll probably be using some of Wanky's apps to downgrade, which access old, and out of region, files alike, that shouldn't be accessible anymore, but oddly still exist on Nintendo's servers.

the UN had no right to give palastine in whole or part to any other group of people,
the rothchilds will answer for what's happened there soon.

incidentally, israel was fdounded by terrorism - the stern and ergun gangs were terrorists.
