Hacking Using The Same Memory Card Between Systems With Different Firmwares?

I have both a PSTV and a Vita and I was thinking of updating the Vita to play newer games but I don't want to have to buy a new memory card and also have to hassle with redownloading things.

Yes it can.

@rikudawn, all you need to do to use the card on both Vita's is set your id.dat file to read only before putting it in the new Vita. You can do this by installing Memcardswap. https://github.com/SMOKE5/memcardswap/releases <

Once done, you can swap between the two Vita's (as long as the user account is the same) without issue. Just note you won't be able to see homebrew and things in the new Vita, and higher firmware games won't run on the old Vita.

What else would you expect from someone calling himself a "softmod expert" just because he read a guide or two and installed CFW in his system LOL
