If I get banned, can I use freeshopnx to download and install games ?

if you're banned from playing online you can use it

but you run the risk of getting cert banned which will prevent you from downloading anything at all
even game updates and system updates

Really? Cert banned... is that something that is happening? I guess that homebrew could change the very somehow - or you get one from another console.

Wonder if there is a way to generate valid certs so Nintendo cannot dare to cert ban in fear of hitting genuine users.

I am using CDNSP to download the latest updates for .xci and .nsp games, I just download the latest update and all dlcs for Pokken from it and installed them by XT menu. better than downloading updates and dlcs from any websites.

Nintendo banned one of the older certs that we were using A LOT woth csnsp. So if they zee you using your own cert with this method to download games from their servers it will eventually get banked this way as well. We have been calling this cert burned and it just means no downloading ANYTHING. No updates. No downloads. No nothing.
