Hacking Using .dat save files?

I have looked through other topics (searching for .dat), but could not find a clear answer. I have noticed the options with changing sav type, but cannot get .dat.

I have a lot of .dat save files from my slot-2 M3 Perfect. Is it possible to use (import, etc.) these when running roms off of the Acekard 2i? If not, can they be converted to .sav and then used somehow in that format?

Sadly, AKAIO cannot directly depict .dat SAVs from other flashcarts like the M3 Real. So convert using Shuny's Online Web Converter. Shuny's Web Converter

Click "Convert a Save"
Set "Source Format" to the line that contains "M3 (.dat)"
Set "Target Format" to the line containing "Acekard 2" & "(.sav)"
Browse for your SAV
Click Convert

Excellent resource. I converted to Acekard 2 format. I made the assumtion that 2 and 2i are the same. Thanks a lot.
