the heck is a ds3? This person obviously knows nothing or probably even cares about what he/she is selling. Also case beat on like that would make me weary of purchasing without seeing the screens and or a video of it working.

Uhm, I don't think "costumer" service can give you your personal WEP code for your own internet...
And only one picture? He doesn't even show the picture of the screens' condition. From being involved in selling on eBay for ten years, I'd recommend staying away.

Nope! Check out the Japanese white casing:

(This one has had NA 3DS guts swapped into it)

As you can see, not even a black border around the top screen, and that's an official case (I don't think there even are third party casings yet).
