Hacking Question Used Switch 2017 edition from amazon, can I mod it?

Ok guys It took awhile but I did it.
So the ones on amazon are almost definitely all ipatched or I'm just very unlucky since I returned 3.
I just gave up and bought one from a clueless Ebay seller who didn't know the value if his Switch and sold it for 280 €

On this subject do any switch lites actually use the older chips ipatched? Could see them becoming an item of value if dual boots never support the newer chips.

No all switch lites need an SX chip. You can still dual boot though, when you install the SX chip when the SX main menu pops up on your screen it gives you the option to either boot custom firmware or original firmware and gives you the option to boot Emunand or Sysnand.
