Hacking usbloader gx stuck after playing gc game

hello all, installed the lastest usbloader gx and firmware for my wii i think (i followed a guide on yt). When playing gc games after booting my wii, it works perfect. But when I exit a game after playing for few mins/hours. Usbloader gets stuck at initializing hdd and won't detect it. Any help would be appreciated? thanks!

Your hard drive, how is it formatted ??

Is your hard drive connected to port 0 of the Wii ??

how do I check if my ios/cios is upto date?
hdd is formatted fat32
hdd is connected to the bottom usb port
