A cheap wireless router will cost about the same, and perform far better.

Huh....hmm? What'd ya mean? USB Wi-Fi?......Do ya mean a USB "Wi-Fi" connector that enables your DS to connect to the internet....? If so, you should get a router. Faster....and overall..better.

Ive used the USB for my moms modem because she did not have a wireless router and it worked fine,its good for on the go to friends houses,just install software and *BAM* Wifi.

Yup that's the only good side of it....it's portable...

You can enable it to work for any device also.. It's just a Buffalo device with nintendo's name on it.
Requires a little computer knowledge though.
