Hacking USB not working launching from the Wii U menu

Hello everyone,

I recently installed CBHC and installed the vWii homebrew channel with gamepad support. I also installed Nintendont as a channel from the Wii U menu. When I enter manually through the wii mode and choose the homebrew channel it loads the usb perfectly fine, but when I boot either the homebrew channel or nintendont from the Wii U menu, it doesn't read the usb.

I was wondering if this is normal or there is a fix?

I ran SysCheck HacksDEn Edition and the report and I have d2x-v10beta53-alt-vWii on vIOS 248, 249, 250, 251. Also, the Homebrew Channel runs on IOS58.
