Hi guys.

Im Using the USB_Loader.1.5s_mod0.2_by_Brisma but cant get it working.

My HDD is recognized. Than it says that there are no WBFS Pratitions found (though the hole driv is WBFS formatted or the second partition is WBFS formated, i tried both).

I press A to format a partition. It gives me an Error:

ERROR !! No Partitions found! ret = -6

What is ret -6 ???

All i know is that ret -1 is that the HDD is not recognized...

How do you know your HDD is recognized?

I could not get my HDD to work. I noticed when I unplug the USB the software responses exactly the sameway.

Maybe I wasn't clear--try do everything WITHOUT connecting the USB HDD. Do the loader produce same responses?

if you have the right usb drive it should say nothing other than do you want to format your drive.
i spent the last two days wasting my time with a drive that simply wont work...no matter what you do.

your usb controller or hdd is more than likely incompatible.
buy a wd essentials my book usb 2.0 drive...its plug and play straight out of the box.

Well...

The HDD is compatible, but the USB to SATA converter wasn't.

All is did was changing the USB boxes with the sata to usb converter (I took the one from my friend's WD 2,5" USB drive) and now my HDD is working.

@ Ilnyc

I formatted the HDD on the PC with WBFS Manager 3.0...

Well...now there's nor problem. But thanks for your answers =)

yes...so it boils down to user error...not the loaders fault.
happened to me too with the gear i was trying to use.
glad you figured it out

after reading this, it could be my thumb drive that caused the error as well. But I am wondering why under USB device compatibility list, Cruzer 4gb sandisk is compatible tho.
