I forgot to setup a boolean check if Network Initialization failed, to prevent it from trying to download regardless of an internet connection.

Ive updated the source / compiled and it works, but its based off V4 so hungyip will have to add the change to his code.

hungyip, the changes to menu.c are here on pastie: http://pastie.org/445083

I only added a boolean donotdownload, setting it to true when Networking Init Fails, and an if statement around the download code. You'll notice the changes.

Now it wont try to download if it couldn't get an internet connection.

Fors

Thanks man! I planned to get it done today and you already did that =)

Oh boy,, I use one of these loaders on this page but I dont know which,,, it was a teen.dol when I got it..

Last time I was here was yesterday at 80 pages... Can someone post a quick refresh of what has been done in this thread to date? and links if they are not on the first post already?

I have followed this from the start but being more than 20 pages behind now.. I dont think I can catch up

I had a question
My Wii is PAL, and when I load this application (as some others USB loaders Wanin, sorg etc ...) my screen isn't full. It's like there is a black stripe down the screen, and it looks like it isn't in the correct Hz.
I don't like if I load a dol or a wad, I had patched with Wizzle to get a correct PAL, but it doesn't fix

Anyone had the same problem?

Yes, I know this. And there's already a fix for it.
It's posted here:

I have this "fix" in the dol I use, but as I can't test how those changes act on a 4:3 NTSC screen,
I did not put it in a public source. Maybe Fors can have a look on how to implement a true and region independent widescreen mode...

Want a tester? I have a 15" crt tv, lol.

so there is a solution to 16x9 TV sets so we don't have those lines to the left and right of the screen. if possible please implement in a future version of this great usb loader. tnx in advance

I'm also getting code dumps when it tries to download covers.
I definitely have cios36 v10, I installed it this morning.

When did you download cios36 rev 10. If you got it when it was first posted you may need to re-download it. The initial release caused problems and would not let games load. It also caused other problems.

I grabbed cIOS rev 10 straight from Waninkoko's blog today under the following head...

Custom IOS36 rev 10 (¡ACTUALIZADO!)

12/04/2009 por ( Waninkoko )

http://www.teknoconsolas.es/blogs/waninkoko

Notice the date stamp above 12th April so that is the newest one available and that's what I applied

The bad one had the same info. You may want to redownload it and re-install it just to ensure you have the good one.

First post says "title.txt", but it said "titles.txt" before, hence the confusion.

about title(s).txt, I posted a huge one on page 90 and wonder if really no one is interested in that?

Here's a titles.txt with 1172 games for the USB Loaders
smile.gif

titles and gameID were taken from http://www.theotherzone.com (I don't know the original source?)
I removed duplicate game IDs, fixed capitalization, fixed some typos and some titles, so that it's hopefully clean enough to provide a starting base.
all NTSC-J + NTSC-U + PAL games in a single list to be able to check for duplicates later.

Nice one, I appreciate it, should be packed with the loader itself.
Some times, this thread has so many new posts, that such great posts get lost!

That's useful, thanks. This thread is just going so fast, an interesting post like that will go by totally unnoticed.
