I remember reading somewhere that it was impossible to use both USB ports at the same time, so that you can't use the lan adapter while using the USB loader. Well, I don't have wifi, i have a lan cable directly to my wii for online, and I'd still liek to use wifi. Has this problem been addressed yet?

So is that the usb loader or the lan adapter in that slot?
The Hard drive/flash drive MUST be in slot shown in the picture above, The Lan can go in the other one.

iirc if you try to put the hdd in the other usb slot it will hang at the loading screen and tell you something about a slow usb port.

Why is it necessary for the USB drive to go into the right usb port?
because that's the port designated and programmed into the lion's share of the backup loader software out there - if you have an issue with that port, there are a few forked loaders/cios which allow the other port to be used instead.

Is it possible to program both ports so that two usb drives may be used simultaneously?

logic tells me if it were possible, someone would have already done it, but i honestly think the loaders themselves arent smart enough in and of themselves to mount two file systems at the same time.

someone will chime in with greater knowledge though, i'm sure.
