it's not the quickboot which is broken. on contrary, quickboot help.

I use r929 with NTFS folder and .WBFS ISO on a NTFS partition

Then my assumption about only WBFS working was wrong. Sorry about that.

D34DL1N3R thanks its nice to know exactly what is broken in this regards.

I edited the source and made a r929 that is PoP (w/ patched main.dol) compatible with cIOSXr19. Not sure if I broke anything else in the process other than not being able to return to GX when exiting a game, but it just goes back to the Wii main menu which is ok with me for the time being until the team fixes it themselves. Other than that the game sound issue is still there so you have to have quick boot on, or disable the game sounds.

If anyones interested, here's the dol:
GX r929 Mod

Sorry if I shouldn't be posting it here & will remove it if asked.
Also remember that anyone who uses it is doing so at their own risk... although I haven't had any issues at all.
Consider it a quick fix until the team makes an official update.

Bugs thus far in the modified r929:
Quick boot needs to be on, or game banner sounds set to off in order to prevent freezing on game selection (same as official r929)
Returning to GX after exiting a game no longer works (because that portion of the source was removed)
Specific game settings do not save (no idea)

Thank you for this quick patch

the return_to patch is ok if I don't have it (though, I found it really useful since it's there, thanks Pune

But, what does it affect with the disc_in_drive_patch removed ? some games will not work ? I didn't follow the development on this one.

I assume that you will need a (any) disc in the drive to play a few games. Don't know which ones off hand but I tried about 10 games including Ghostbusters and Indiana Jones with no problems. I don't have the Metroid Trilogy on my drive so I can't test that one out.

Anyone have a list of the games that required a disc to be in the drive? I'm sure at least 1 of the 115 games on my HDD qualifies, lol.

ah, that old game problem ? I see.

Like de Blob, ok

Not a big problem then ^^

deBlob
Deadly creature
Metroid prime 3 - Corruption
MX vs. ATV: Untamed (RMX_78)
Sports party (RSU_41)

I have deBlob and Deadly Creatures. Off to test right now.

Edit: Both work fine with no disc in the drive, so I'm not sure what was or was not effected by removing the code.
My fiancee has been messing around with it for a while now and hasn't had any errors at all.

hi guys is there a version of priiloader which works with autobooting usbloader gx as rev 929 makes it crash sometimes when ii turn the wii on,

im guessing its a conflict with the on the fly patch returning from games to usb loader gx

Did you hex edit the main.dol and replace it before trying? It won't work without it being done.
I also tested the network init and have no problems whatsoever. I reset the Wii and tried it 20 times in succession with not a single freeze.

Edit: I just noticed that specific game settings do not save with my modified dol. Regardless, it works with every game I've tried with my global settings.

Hi Guys

Something has gone wrong..

I have FAT32 HDD with games copied from Wii Backup Manager. When I start USB Loader GX it shows no games.. menu is allright but no games.. it was allright before.. did a reformat of Wii and HDD still the same..

the HDD is all right on Config USB Loader.. this confuses me..

It shows the right partition..

Well, asked that question in another topic but I think it's better here...

My USB Loader GX doesn't seem to work properly; when it opens, it says there are no partitions that can be used (or something like that) and then asks me to choose. I choose the only working partition (FAT32), and the two games installed on my little pendrive (New SMB Wii and Super Mario Galaxy 2) appear to be recognized by the loader... With the menu music/talk and all. But whenever I try to start the game, little dots appear and everything's frozen.
I suspect that may have something to be with the pendrive being incorrectly formatted, or maybe it's about the cIOS (hope it's not that, since I followed the guides correctly and my DOP-IOS MOD says all the IOS that had to be stubbed were already modified successfully). Whatever it is, what happened and what can I do to use it?
And also, reformatting my device didn't do crap.

UPDATE: Then I got the latest revision. Now the frozen black screen with dots was replaced by a black screen that set me back to Homebrew Channel.
