Great! We finally have auto updates, I've been waiting for this

. But don't you guys think the dol file is getting a little big? It's like 2.5 mb now takes a while to load.
with the new forwarder it takes about 2 seconds to load up.

which new one is that exactly?
I tried an earlier forwarder, but it wasn't fully preloader compatible. It crashed on rebooting (i set reboot in preloader to preloader itself. So if you exit a game, it should go back to usb loader again)

I was talking about booting it from hbc, but I just installed hbc 1.0.3 and now it takes no time at all.

Could you inform me!

I am looking for the "boxart" wii games, good quality or not "disc labels. If you know a site please me know!

Thank you
the usbloader gx cand download the covers itself
it gets them from http://www.theotherzone.com/wii/ (don't forget the last /)

Thank you to you to the site, in fact I had already visited this site, but I thought we had to download one by one, and I noticed that you could have pack.

Moreover, for "boxart" is good, but how it was for the "disk-art one by one?

Thank you

Awesome, looking forward to the new forwarder.

New forwarder + updating from within the loader is going to make it truly amazing guys.

Which information in the first post is wrong?
FIRST-POSTSample files and manual:

* The instructions manual for the theme settings can be fround HERE.
* No sample files yet!
* There is NO need for a config.txt anymore since all the options were move to the settings insode the loader.
* Titles.txt will be reduced to game renaming only
* You can watch a Videotutorial here:
The link, in the bolded line, still tells people to use "config.txt" and "theme.txt"!

Is it possible that the light blue of the wii not turn on when installing a game is over!

do you have the wii light option in settings turned on?

just a thought.

I cannot find where, please you know where going for setting turned off light blue !

Thanks

Now that r420 has an update feature, I was wondering if the "update_path" variable will be configurable in the Settings Screen?

Looking at the code, it appears that it was designed that way, but the Changelog and/or Wiki doesn't mention anything about it.

It also looks like the "update_path" variable will look to "SD:/apps/usbloader_gx/". I don't, currently, have my USBLoader GX in that directory. Does this mean that my revision update will fail, if the path is not configurable??

Thanks!

but then its not wrong in the first post, it's wrong on the googlepage. like i said, information in the first post are correct.
Well... Technically, if you're telling someone to go to a page, for a "How To", and that page has the wrong information on it, that means that the first post is leading you the wrong way to do something.

Although I know my opinion doesn't really count here... In my opinion, if a revision changes the functionality of a configuration file, it would only make sense that the Wiki should also reflect those changes!

I realize the the revisions change multiple times per day, but most of the time, the changes do not affect the configuration files. When it does, however, it shouldn't be that hard to take 20 seconds to edit the Wiki accordingly.

It's hard for me to tell people to "read the first post", if that post will not answer their question correctly.

Thanks

i hope the update_path can be changed in settings because I have a sweet forwarder (looks like disc channel) which points to /apps/usbloader

With it being a variable im sure it will appear soon

Yeah, you can change it in the settings. But as far as I read a few posts ago there will be a new forwarder, which is faster for this usb-loader. But you are right: the one with the disc and the hdd spinning look really great.

Really appreciate this new function guys. Great job!

thanks Master Mo for that. Im at work so I cannot check this out yet lol
Yea the disc & hdd is the best... but i'll wait and see what the new 1 is like

Hey NeoRame, does your new forwarder have the clean USB Loader GX graphic like the banner at the top of the first post? Because the old one looks a little 'blocky' and that one looks clean and wonderful.

PS: I wont ask again

If you had read back a few pages you would see that it has already been added but is still beta (like everything) and may not be fully implemented yet.

Please, I need help

I don't understand why the USB Loader GX continues to tell me "No SD-Card inserted!".
I'm using a SDHC card with HBC 1.0.3.
I enter in the HBC channel, then start the loader and when I try to download covers or change directories the homebrew tells me that it can't feel the sd card. I tried to format the SD but nothing to do...
What can I do?
