What directory would you like? I am thinking of making one that reads a file out of a directory to set where it forwards.

Hi and thanks.

I have mine under usbloader-gui. Thanks again

on which source is that forwarder based?
read from file out of dir would be also nice feature.
can you publish the source then too ?
thanks!

Features:

* per game settings (currently working on)
* downloadable covers
I still couldn`t figure out how to use these two features... I have absolutely no cover downloaded for this loader and I wanted to download them through the channel, so I don`t have covers for game, I don`t have on my HD. But how do I do that? And how do I do configurations for each game?

Thanks in advance

Has anyone been able to run the Demo of "Monster Hunter G"? In here it starts black...and remains black.
I'm on PAL.

Anyone that has been able, please tell me the settings they used.

i actually have 16 games, takes about 34 GB (but i guess you could get a bunch of animal crossing, wii sports, wii play type of games that are all sub 400MB). And are there more than 170 games worth having ? And even if there were more than 170 games worth having, who has the time to actually play that many ?
Do you planify to increase this limit of 170 games ? It would be a nice thing.

per game settings isn't completet yet so you can't use it as it should be. downloadble covers are coming back soon.... had to take it out ... caused some issues.

With the optionbrower that we use now, the stability cap seems to be in the 190-195 game range. I have tried every number from 170 to 250 and 195 is the highest that I can have been able to play a game from. But I send that dol to somebody else and they can't get it to stop crashing. So we could possible set the max at 180 or something and it will be fine. Or you can probably find 10 games from the list that have never been played and delete them.

Until one of us breaks down and converts this over to the filebrowser system there will be that limit. The filebrowser is that list of available roms on the snes9x and FCUEGX. But it was written to list roms from a FAT SD card or a DVD.

hello
what is the difference between :

*HDD Forwarder for GUIL.wad
et
*USB Loader forward by nIxxx for GUIL.wad

It seems to be the same, in both cases the loading is long (I find)

Becareful , there are 2 games. "Monster Hunter 3 (tri-) (trial)" and "Monster Hunter G". The first works but not the second.
Look this compatible list

I have problems with the disc labels since updated to the newest build. Have em on SD Card (images/disc/). The DVD Covers are all there but the disc covers not. In early version there was no problem with the dvd label covers. Must I put em into another directory? Not images/disc/ ?

Is there are forwarder that loads another directory then usbloader maybe guiusbloader or anything else?

Disc Images may only have the first three characters in the name, than it works fine. :-)

Although the settings option is not availible yet, but if you select settings from the game disc screen Wii freezes everytime.

yes but with the actual sources, you need to have shortID as file name: XXX.png

@ develloper:
- please have a look on googlecode on issue63 about the longID for disc, i've attached the code to fix this problem
- please change two sing on deviceWait countdown (just cosmetic but look very better):
* line 569 put a point after "left" like this "sprintf(timer, "%u s left.", i);"
* line 2929 remove "30 sec" like this "ret2 = DeviceWait("No USB Device:", "Waiting for USB Device:", 0, 0);"
thx

Not to be rude but aside from end user additional material, nothing has been done towards the actual loader itself? I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering if this is at peak the best it's at.

As in, no room for improvement?

I'm more than happy with the current loader, it's just bugging the hell out of me with so many revisions.

Well of course Wany will keep going, but if you all remember GBATemp's community improved upon his old loaders (Wiigator to be exact), has this been the case here with USB Loaders?

Forwarder loads the .dol file from your SD card.

Second one contains the USB Loader .dol files inside the wad files, thus on the Wii memory itself.

Strange because i try both , and they load together a boot.do in sd:/apps

Well you don't have to update with every new revision. It's just a release of the current source code, sometimes with only minor improvements.
