WE SHOULD USE FCE ULTRA GX new updated GUI scrolling its soooooo much better! did the gui lib update?

btw the dark skin loader freezes up when you go to the Settings menu with a dol forwarding wad

its takes along time to put them on the hdd , becuase i use to put them all on disc, and in the white dvd case and print out all of the labels ahahha

Why is this based on 1.1? I heard there is better compatibility with 1.1, and cios rev 9, but is there any games that people confirmed that don't work on rev 10 and 1.5?

Also, does this have all the bug fixes like the file corruption when deleting games bug that come on 1.5?

Sorry if this was already asked, I admit that I didn't read the full 30 pages, if it was then please just let me know around what page.

Guys, I'm sorry, but the whole password lock thing is just buggin me, is there another way to implement childproofing so that those of us don't have kids need to unlock it all the time? like maybe a button combo?

I am using cios REV 10 so maybe thats why im getting text mixed in with other text with too many installed, it must be related to the cios rev.

there is most definitely a way to do that. use a version that didn't have that feature. right now this still under development, so every revision won't have every feature. right now you get to choose between cover downloading and not having to put in a password.

I understand it's under development, I'm suggesting a different method for childproofing, that's all, and for me, cover downloading is highest priority, lol.

Well, I don't have any kids around, so be assured that when a final release is out, there will definitely be a version of it with big boy mode as the default. (ie, no training wheels when you boot it up) it seems too much like the UAC in vista IMO.

(when the game start WindowPrompt comes up, hold 1+2 for 5 seconds, then get "Delete? YES/NO" dialog.) To me this would be perfect.

I agree, it is very annoying. It wouldnt be so bad if you only had to unlock it once... then it would save it so next time it was already unlocked. Then if you want to lock it again, just press 'Lock'. After that you have to put the password in again.

One other thing that would be nice, in the settings menu (unless its somewhere else that I dont know of) you should put the version number. There are so many releases and I've updated so many times I'm not sure what I'm at now.

I feel obligated to post an error I saw. I tried in rev102 to return to HBC after launching form channel and got a stack dump. I did the full testing and it only occurs when launched from channel and return to HBC. If I launch from HBC it works to return to Wii or HBC. All other situations behave correctly.

The forwarder channel works fine. That only happens when you use the GUI wad, right? Same thing happened to me. I just deleted the wad and I'm sticking to the forwarder instead.

this is exactly why i suggest a config.txt be made to define such things as button short cuts and text colors and default loader settings in regard to video....all this has been done with shizzas ult loader v6 and above should look into merging the feature rich config.txt system in that loader with this

I would rather see the settings tab used for a config set up, and save to SD card. In the ultimate loader's 260+ pages, 200 of them are from people have problems trying to set up their config.txt's . I been following them from page 1, and now I gave up and switched to this loader because of simplicity.

I hate to say it but the straight forwarder channel is lame... Someone needs to revise it. That said, you are correct it does work that way.

love the look of this
i can't get covers working
i haven't been able to get them working in any loader
i have a folder on the root of the sd called usb loader and a folder called covers inside that with all the images. they are png files and the right size but they don't show and they are named right(SXBE52) for example
why don't they work
