r1180 is very old. The latest version is r1260. If you installed the channel version (UNLR) you will have to remove it and install the v5.1 forwarder instead and put USB Loader GX in your homebrew apps folder. If you're using the forwarder instead of the channel already you can update it through the settings menu but you will have to run the update twice.

Just Dance and Call of Duty series require IOS57 so you need d2x based on it for those games. If you installed d2x using standard recommended slots (IOS249[56] and IOS250[57]) then setting the loader to use 250 for those games should work.

It might help if you posts the .csv results (in spoilers) of a SysCheck report.

:DThanks GreyWolf! I didn't notice my version of USB Loader GX was old. I'll update it now.

I tried changing the Game IOS to 250 & Force NTSC display mode but the Just Dance (2009) game still all black screen. I haven't updated USB LOADER GX yet.

Most of these games are from NTSC-U and PAL regions. How can I know which video settings are best suited for the game to display correctly?

Right now I just force all of my games to NTSC. Depending on where you are and what your TV is capable of displaying, you may want to force console default

I have a lot of app, games, demos, and useless homebrew on my SD card :P
not sure they are "recommended" nor useful to anyone else.

You should just try "Homebrew browser" homebrew. It will let you browse, download and manage a lot of homebrew directly from your Wii.
This way you will see what exists and you could see things which interest you.

Thanks for the suggestions! I have an Android phone, maybe I could use it as a portable wifi hotspot to connect my wii online. Haven't tired yet though.
It's odd I could not get Call of Duty: BLACK OPS to work with latest USBLOADERGx even though I already set the game IOS to 247. I already have my cios's installed in slots 248(56), 247(57); d2x-v10-beta52, cIOS D2X Installer 3.1, IOS236_Installer_v6. What Am I missing here?
I have a JPN console maybe that's why it won't work. Or do I need a different version of d2x maybe? I just don't know.

your slot 247 should work.
d2x v10 or v8 are both fine.
So maybe because it's japanese version. what happens? black screen, reboot, start but freeze, etc. ?

I don't think you should remove your cIOS with multiModManager.
it's best to overwrite them if you want, but just keep them if you don't use or want them anymore.

Thanks for the reply Cyan! I've been trying to make this game work for days. I'm planning on not removing my cIOS installation since you advised so. As for the Call of Duty: BLACK OPS and JUST DANCE(2009), black screen on start up. Tested with Wiiflow, cfgusbloader, & usbloaderGX.

already verified the wbfs file is good with wii backup manager:
Original title: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Game ID: SC7E52
Region: NTSC
IOS: 57
MD5: 3593A37E99FD35BD2CBAAD6085D2A091
Partitions: UG
Type: WBFS
Size: 4358 MB (4.26 GB)

also tried video mode forcing to NTSC and PAL.
i'll try installing cIOS in slot 250 (57) d2x v8, hope it make's a difference.

v8 should work the same than v10 (r52). Only a hdd fix was added to r52.
r53 on the contrary has more issues (users reported some games not working, like just dance 2015).
But you said you had r52 so it should have worked, but you can try v8 if you want.

Nothings change. All is darkness on the screen. I'm going to try changing my Japanese Wii 4.3J to 4.3U if it's possible since I heard that this game doesn't work on a Japanese Wii.

I didn't know that.
that's probably your issue then, if you currently have a JP console.
be careful when doing a region edit.
What you can do instead is using neek to launch the game, this way you can create different EmuNAND region and launch the game without editing your real console's region.
It could be harder for you, do what you think is easier.
