Is there a way to play Wii Games with the GC controller? (Wii U)

Well, at least when using Nintendont as the backup loader, gc controllers (with the (official) adapter) are natively supported.

1. you can if the game supports the classic controller
2. you would need an adapter that plugs into the wii remote
