The USB HDD is formatted to FAT32 and 32KB Clusters. I'm trying to play GameCube games from it (using this guide: http://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-play-gamecube-games-off-a-usb-hdd.329628/ ) and when I go to USB Loader GX from HBC it doesn't recognize the USB.

Is there anyway to fix this? The USB is 4GB and when in the Wii it's light is lit up red. I tried both slots.
Really need help!

You say that it light red, it should light which color when it's working? red is fine?

Maybe the drive doesn't have a partition table?
the loader expect a table in sector 0.
I think very small devices don't have multiple partitions, so maybe no table was ever created.

Yeah red light just means on.

So do I create one or something?

When loading USB Loader GX is says 'USB Loader GX requires at least cIOS 222 or 250 to work properly' or something? Could that be it?

Do a re-hack using ModMii, a PC app that will DL and install what your missing / need. Have a 2GB SD card to put the files onto, then into Wii, and print out the guide it generates for you.....
