Hi, i've got my wii two days ago and i installed some .wbfs to play on USB Loader GX and sometimes the games open and some doesn't, and it's just a black screen. What do I do? I've already installed priiloader, bootmii, the cIOS and formated my usb drive to FAT32. It worked like 4 times but now it just doesn't work.

This is my SysCheck:

Edit: Okay so rn the games work, the problem is that only super paper mario and wii sports work, the rest don't work, does this have to do with the game?

I dont know, maybe there is some guide pinned at top of the Wii section that might help.
i've tried everything on your usb loader troubleshooting forum and nothing. And now there are parts of the usb loader gx that don't load or bug

I highly doubt it.
Why? Because at least what I see (or rather what I don’t see):
Version USB Loader GX - ?
If you tried to use version 1280, you would notice that it is recommended to use other versions of cIOS (and in a different configuration) with it.
I don't see any mention of this in your report (and the new SysCheck).
Based on this, I suspect that nothing was done from the guide, that it was simply quickly scanned diagonally and closed.

you're right, i forgot to mention that i tried everything included in the 6th point (the one that contains the blackscreen stuff)
i really don't know much about the usb loader gx versions, which one do i download?

Hello,

@BoredDude

as is often said (USB sticks often give a black screen or never boot), or they eventually die.:nayps3:

see for yourself on the forum, the number of people who use a USB key, and it does not work and end up opting for an external hard drive.

you can try to format your usb key (wbfs, fat 32, ntfs) and see the result? , very often the USB key uses the WBFS format

prefer an external FAT32 hard drive (perhaps with a Y-cable for a better connection with the wii), and everything will be back to normal.

@Sypherone

has a great guide regarding the wii :rofl2: :yayu::yaywii:

Download this, and replace your apps/usbloader_gx folder with this one
i've done it and it still doesn't work. I think it has do with the d2x cios installer or with the settings. Do i need to have installed the DIOS MIOS installer?

Why do you think it has do with the d2x installer as you already have installed the correct patched ios in slot 249/250/251 ?
IOS249[57] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS250[56] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS251[38] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha
And r1280 works with this setup, but it will reload the specific cIOS. For faster loading times the ios in slot 249 and 250 need to be changed, if you mean this. And the order of the cIOS has no other effect on the USB Loader, but you already saw that under section 3 in the additional info box.

i've done it and it still doesn't work. I think it has do with the d2x cios installer or with the settings. Do i need to have installed the DIOS MIOS installer?
Do you have Dios Mios installed? Hmm check your syscheck, No. Did you remember you installed it? For sure not.

Whats written under section 6 - other ? :
  • If on Wii the DIOS MIOS is installed (check sysconfig), install the original MIOS by this guide (bottom). Its outdated and not mainted since 2014.

But you checked the guide... Sorry thats...

Is your flash drive detected at all, like with some WiiXplorer etc. not just Wiiflow/ usbloadergx ?
Anyway, on pc make sure your flash drive has only one partition, and formatted as fat32 32kb cluster size.
Use this version of usbloadergx as mentioned. Or the latest Wiiflow lite from here.
See if your usb flash drive passes the "usb initiation screen" when you first launch USBLoaderGX.
Inside USBLoaderGX, change the drive location to port 0 of ot's set to port 1.
