Hacking Usb Loader GX not loading games

Well retroarch was working fine (ps1) but it gives me an error saying something like processor ARM9 and exeption something

Yeah that I wouldn't know, since its a 3ds crash error, and I've modded 1 3ds, and put in my drawer to die. And that was years ago lol

hey ppl...

i know, old stuff... but i need a little help.

i modded a wii (hbc, dx2, usb loader gx), everything fine,
games on usb showing up, loading, working.

then i installed modmii, made a nand backup, installed priiloader,
so i can boot in to usb loader gx when poweing up the wii.

at first start, usb loader gx freezes at "reloading to config files cios".

i changed config in priiloader so it boots to system menu.

started usb loader from hbc, same problem - freezes at "reloading to config files cios".

deleted usb loader gx folder on sd card, copied over new from zip file.

usb loader gx is loading normal, but when starting any game, i get black screen.

even after doing EVERYTHING from scratch, i allways get a black screen.

what happened here?

I am very sorry to hear that....but maybe a "little" thing has to be the Solution BEFORE you make all new...
You have only to delete the Settings File (the "GXGlobal.cfg").
It s located SD:/apps/usbloader_gx/

Ok,now you are at the Beginning.Do you mean ALL from scratch (re-Softmod yoour Wii) or ONLY the USBLoaderGX ?

Did you maybe changed someting too in PRIILAODER ?
Settings ? Enabled/Disabled some PRIILOADER Hacks ?

A little more questions please:

-Your USBLoaderGX is on the latest Version v3.0 r1272 ?
-Which cIOS is installed on Slot 249 and which Base has it please ?
(d2x v8 final, base 57 OR d2x v10 r52 base 57 would be very good).
-On which IOS is the USBLoaderGX running ?

Please also check:
How is the USB Stick formatted please ?
Can you please try another USB device ? A HDD maybe too ?

ok, more weird stuff...

tried again starting a game, black screen.

so i came here again to type above post.

when i switched the tv back wii, the game was started.

i ecit to wii system, start usb loader again, start the game,
it took about 80 seconds to start the game.

so i guess, the usb stick was messed up because i force power off
the wii while accessing the usb stick ^^

now the quation is, why it takes so long to start the game?

tried different usb stick, usb2, usb3... alle the same long time to start the game.

Please change it to 58,then re-start the Loader and try to start a Game again.

IMPORTANT: Reinstall the homebrew channel after installation - just launch the HackMii installer over the homebrew channel and just install it over it to run on the IOS58.

i did that syscheck, the only thinsg changed are 249 & 250

the question is:

despite the error message, it seems like ios 58 is installed.

when launching usb loader from hbc it starts with ios58,

usb loader starts with ios 249.

i tried uninstalling the forwarder - didnt work.

how can i update the forwarder to start usb loader with ios 58?

Sorry to hear again of your issue.

Your USB Stick maybe...
I waited a little to see if it works for you.

USB Sticks/Thumb Drives/Pen Drives and so on are KNOWN as problematic and not 100% reliable (not ALL of them but very few,seemingly newer Models multiplied).Also they do not all work perfect with FAT32 on the Wii.It is and remains a non reliable Solution for USBLoaderGX.
some works perfect (I also use it) some have no chance to work respectable.

Do you have the chance to try a HDD please ?

After the IOS58 "install" did you run the HackMII installler (from Homebrew Channel) again and Re-installed the Homebrew channel ?

only thing left is, priiloader do not start usb loader with ios 58,

That means you have already set your PRIILOADER in SETTINGS "Use System Menu IOS" to ON ?

tried both "use system menu ios on" & "off & ios 58"

it seems i need to load the usb loader forwarder in priiloader,
which i found... but i dont know where to put the .dol file so
priiloader can see it.
