Homebrew usb loader gx issues

i first modded my system in 2013, to rip my games to my flash, and store my discs away. after a short period of time (about 3 month) i returned to my system to find that usb loader gx did not work. so to fix my problem i searched forums left and right, and decided to reformat my system and start fresh. I've retried several times, but always have the same issue(usb loader gx fails to read flash, and freezes) so i hope that someone here can help me. My syscheck is

Flash drives are less compatible and can't be used to dump games.
Please, use external hard drives instead.

It's not a USBLoaderGX issue, other loaders have the same issue.

What you can try if you don't have external HDD:
1. use IOS58 in the loader settings and restart the loader.
2. don't use loaders, use CleanRIP homebrew instead.
