Hacking USB Loader GX help!

I've been using a 64gb usb flash drive with no problems, but i switched to a 1tb hdd and now usb loader gx freezes on initializing usb device. I found a workaround by unplugging the hdd before launching usbloadergx and it will say waiting on hdd, then i plug it in and it loads no problem. however every time i change a game i have to do it all again (unplug, launch, plug). has anybody run into this problem? any ideas?

Are you using a y splitter cable with the HDD as most need them to work properly???

like i said if i unplug it before launching and then replug it it works fine
