I softmodded a wii and installed a forwarder for usbloader GX. When i start GX all goes fine. But when i select a game en press on the disc for the game to start, the screen stays black and i have to shutdown the wii manually.

I don't see what the problem might be. I hope someone is able to help. Here's what signcheck has to say about the ios-es:

Same thing here, using r938 on SD card. HBC and forwarder tested, result the same. Disk is NTFS formatted (only NTFS partiition). Using CFGUSBLoader everything is working fine.

I like GX the best but that's just my pref. You just have to remember that GX supports Hermes v4 (not v5) and cIOS rev17 (not 19 or 20)

As far as I know if you want to use NTFS you need a small FAT32 boot partition. I was originally convinced NTFS was the only FS worth using until I gave it some thought and concluded that, for the Wii, FAT32 is the only way to go for me... (except for the large archive drives, they are still NTFS)
