Hacking USB Loader GX forwarder

I have USB Loader GX installed and play most of my games with it. I used to run it from HBC but have just installed a forwarder to it. When i load it with the forwarder i get a message saying that I must choose cios, and then get three options, cios 249, cios 222 and wii menu. If i choose 249 or 222 i get a black screen with some kind of dump in it.
But if i load the loader (lol) from HBC it works like a charm every time.
How can I get this forwarder to work?

shure that u used a forwarder ? maybe u installed the loader as a wad ?
The forwarder should just start the HBC file of the GX loader
