Hi guys, I have a PAL wii and i wanted to use brawl hacks.
So I downloaded the NTSC-U version of Brawl to use hacks.
But the game tells me to create a new save so I created it.
Now I have downloaded a 100% save but i don't know where to put it.
I have WAD version of Usb loader gx.
Where should i put the save file?

what do you want to do?
hack the wii, or play the game?
The USBLoaderGX WAD file has nothing to do with the save file. (and don't install random wad, it's probably an old version)

If you want to hack the wii to install the homebrew channel, follow the hack guide (it tells you where to put the save file on your SD card). There are two different hacking method : with a save already present, and one with no save files created.

If your wii is already hacked, you don't need the hacked save anymore.
If you want the 100% save, it depends the format you found it.
If it's a data.bin file it should be placed in the /private/ folder on your SD card.
To know the correct place, go to Wii menu > Data management > Save game > Extract your existing save data to SD card. It will create the correct path and name.
This is where you need to place the downloaded savegame file.

If the save has been extracted using SavegameManagerGX, you need to use that program again to restore the savegame to your console.
same process, use SavegameManagerGX to extract an existing save to "see" where it's extracted to your SD or USB and replace the files, then restore the new file to your wii.

My wii is already hacked i want to use brawl+ (hacks like texture replacement)
the problem is that my wii is PAL and the savefile is NTSC-U so i can't put data.bin in private/folder
i have waninkoko savegame manager, do i need to put files in a specific folder?

if the save format is the same for both PAL and NTSC, you can install it, but you'll have to test to see if it's compatible.
Some games are, some aren't.

I don't know if the data.bin contains the region information, so you'll have to test two different things.

Before starting, Keep a backup of your original PAL save!
You will want to restore it if NTSC save didn't work.

Method1 : Using Savegame Manager GX only.
- Put your data.bin in the PAL folder (rename E to P)
sd:/private/wii/title/RSBP/data.bin
- Use the Wii data management menu to restore the save from SD to Wii
if it doesn't work, try SavegameManagerGX and restore the save to your Wii. (latest version should be able to list saves in .bin format)
If it detects that the .bin is not PAL and don't want to restore it, you'll have to use the Method2

Method2: Using an NTSC game first.
- Find a NTSC version of the game
- Play it to create the save file on Wii
- Put your data.bin in the NTSC folder
sd:/private/wii/title/RSBE/data.bin
- Use the Wii data management menu to restore the save from SD to Wii, or use SavegameManagerGX (either will work)
- Use SavegameManagerGX to "extract" the NTSC save file to SD, in "extracted format" (don't extract the save to .bin)
It will create two or three files in sd:/savegames/0001000152534245/
- Rename the folder from "45" (E) for NTSC to "50" (P) for PAL
sd:/savegames/0001000152534250/
- Use SavegameManagerGX to restore the savegame

If the files are using the same format for NTSC and PAL, it will work.
If the data in the save file is stored in a different way (more/less/different data) it will not work and it will tell you the save is corrupted.
