Hacking USB Loader GX does not load .wbfs files, instead returns to Wii Menu - WHY?

This is really frustrating. Any help is appreciated.

I recently pirated two different Call of Duty Wii games in .wbfs form. Whenever I try to load them in USB Loader GX, it simply returns to the Wii Menu within seconds.

I have cIOS 222, 223, 236, 249, 250, and 254 installed. Loading the games in any one of them still results in going back to the Wii Menu. I'm not using Ocarina codes.

What am I doing wrong?

Well, first off the copies are pirated and illegitimate copies of a game are illegal. I advise you to fetch a legit disc and burn it with Cleanrip or USB Loader GX.
To the topic at hand, when you get a file from a shady site, it's more than likely corrupted somehow. Many are packed with viruses that infect a computer when run with Dolphin Emulator. Its very hard to get working .wbfs files, especially for a more niche game like Call of Duty.

Which cIOS (Version/Revision) and which Base did you have installed in Slot 249 (and 250) please ?
Which Games you have tried please ?
