Many Games Show This Error, I'm Not Sure What Is The Cause. Some Even Copy Fine But Won't Load from the menu.

Is there a Working and Non-Work List yet for the USB Loader?

I was wondering if I could copy the game to HDD and some how repair what is wrong - there must be a file not patched or a file patched that shouldn't be.

Any Help with this from anyone?

Thanks for any help...

I can Edit this Post with Answers if we find what's wrong....

Most of the not working games are the games that need to be patched to use IOS249.(Red Steel, SSX, Mortal Kombat, Metroid Prime 1.........) And most games require that you have ANY disc inserted. But with which games do you get: "This Is Not A Wii Game Disc"?

So I should just dump the game to HDD then Patch to use IOS249 & it should work? for the following?

Summer Athletics

Monopoly

Speed Racer

The Price Is Right

This is only what I have wrote down so far. I haven't test all games loaded yet.

games that were patched w. trucha for example
tell us how you put the game on the harddrive (and if it's a backup, if it's patched, etc)
(video mode change etc) don't work either I think. (leave OutAllTheCapitals btw reads a bit weird

no, because ios249 is actually Cios36 v10 and the game wont run.

If you patch games to use IOS249 or not doesn't have an affect on the compatibility for the usb loaders. All games that work for them don't need this and won't stop working if you do it. And the games that require this patching for disc based backup launching will not work in the usb loaders no matter what you do.

And about other patches, the compatiblity of them is the same as when you use Gamma(not the rebooter) or SoftChip to run the games.

I have found that your recorded media can cause this problem. I was using TDKs from costco which were working fine. When I opened a new pack I started getting this error and my games were not working. I am now using the Sony's from Costco and that problem went away.

Try different brand media to see if that solves your problem.

I did reburn a couple backup games that I still had the iso's from.

It did seem to fix the problem with a few only not all. I did try direct iso transfer.

same thing. I do try to use the direct iso transfer if i still have the iso, but the same problem still happens.

thanks for all the input guys... keep it comming...

This most likely means, you downloaded scrubbed images. There's nothing you can do but get them again. Sorry, this is what I had to do with my Okami disk, works fine now. I can't guarentee this is the case, but it is what I had to do.
