Hardware USB Hard drive

Hey just got a new Wii after my old one got bricked and i forgot to install prilloader or the other one.
I just installed homebrew and some brick protection aswell as a couple of usb loaders.
I have a 4GB usb that im using to play a couple of games so i bought a 64gb drive of ebay which turned out to be fake and a load of rubbish so i was looking around and found my 120GB laptop drive.
If i buy a usb to sata adapter (The one with a power usb and a data one) will it work??
Its only £3 on ebay.

USB SATA adapters should work, though certain chipsets are known to have issues. Unfortunately there's really no way to tell without buying it.
