I just ordered my USB Gecko (from Australia for that matter), and I am reading these guides from 2008

http://members.cox.net/dexter0/WiiHacking/geckohacking.shtml
http://members.cox.net/dexter0/WiiHacking/example2.shtml

and I want to be sure that this is not outdated. (for example, in the tutorial, Renegade 64 is used, and I have heard that Renegade 64 is "old")
Also, is there a place to get offline updates for USB Gecko software? (If possible)
This was the most recent forum I could find (and where I found a link to the guides)

hi;) yup i also bought my usb gecko recently, but sadly i cant find any guides for using gecko dot net since the wiird exe always crashes on me,
and you can find support here but many of the tutorial are outdated.

The link in the post above will take you to the site that is currently the most active on the net for using the USB Gecko for making cheat codes. But if you are looking for files such as gecko loader, gecko dot net, wiird, gecko os, etc... I suggest either filetrip or wiibrew. BTW Gecko dot net is better than wiird hands down. Also these sites should help. http://wiird.l0nk.org/codetypes.html http://newdata.box.sk/bx/c/ http://devkitpro.org/wiki/Getting_Started http://www.ftdichip.com/Support/SoftwareEx...ples/CSharp.htm http://members.cox.net/dexter0/WiiHacking/example2.shtml http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,5188.0.html

If you need more help getting a hold of the right files or learning how to use the USB Gecko or getting started coding let me know and I will do my best to help. Later.
