Hacking USB dance mat support for DDR Hottest Party

Has anyone tried this? Don't want to have to go out & buy a proprietary gc one that only works on the wii.....

While we're in the topic, might was well try other usb devices......bt mice/kbrds, webcams etc.....the list goes on....

Soooo much usb HW, but no SW to support it.....Not much use except for charging stuff or wads atm

btw, how the idea of adding mouse or wiimote support for superscope/yoshis safari or mario paint to snes9x?

There is USB Keyboard support for the Message Board and Internet Channel. There is also USB Microphone support for some games (Boogie, American Idol), and not sure how the RockBand is going to connect (Bluetooth/USB)

But yes, I agree that there isn't much USB support...

While not officially confirmed, it appears Nintendo has forbidden any form of online communication on Wii. Including text, voice, or video. Despite even GameCube with its near-nonexistent online support having at least text in PSO IIRC. And both PSP/DS doing voice.
