Hacking USB-C Dualshock 4

(i think this is the appropriate forum to ask this, if not please tell me where i should) from what I've seen the Micro USB on the Dualshock 4 is on its own separate board, would it be possible to make a replacement board that uses USB-C? the shell may need some sanding for it to fit, but it's worth it if i never have to get pissed off because another Micro USB cable broke

you know what? i was doing a general search for this as well, so i'll share the main thing i've found:


that said, i greatly dislike the way this was done. so, i've ordered some USB-C breakout boards on Amazon, and i'm polishing up my soldering iron... and i aim to misbehave
