USB C docks with switch 2

Anyone tried 3rd party USB C dock/adapter with switch 2 (the ones with usb c power and hdmi output)? They worked with switch 1

Should work, but that just gets messy with cables everywhere. I'm guessing we'll see a revision with USB-C ports.

The original NS2 dock must have been from 2022.

I tried a few with no luck. One day I'll try with my laptop docks and see if anything works. All seemed to charge and connect USB/Ethernet but none would output video even with power supplies that would provide 20v output.

You buy a $450+ Switch 2 and be our test dummy then....make sure you try those 3rd party docks also.

Got a chance to test this today. Unsurprisingly the Switch 2 won't dock with a OLED, Switch, or a couple of my third party docks though I didn't try all of them. It also seems to put the Nintendo docks into a weird state requiring a power cycle before they will work again. All of the docks charged some with Nintendo's charger and others with various USB PD chargers. The dock with ethernet did allow the Switch 2 to connect to the network.

not yet on switch2, i am still having problems with a switch 1 because it only goes out of sleep mode when using an original switch pro controller, or pressing the power button on the switch

I have tried with this cheap AliExpress dock. Works fine on switch 1 and 2.
