No the first ever ride I believe will always be the opposite cover legend. But, if you leave the Ultra Wormhole and come back, not beating Ultra Necrozma, you can choose between Solgaleo and Lunala. After beating Ultra Necrozma, I think it will always be your game's cover legend. So Lunala on UM, Solgaleo on US.

Mmm thats the thing. First time, it was supposed to be Lunala, but im riding Solgaleo. Anyway, after beating Necroz i would be riding Solgaleo cause its my cover legend, right? If thats the case then i would see what happen. Thanks!

Yes, maybe that's a glitch then on the first ever ride. It's inconsequential then. I remember in ORAS you can trade saves and basically unlock music for Battle Maison and I think wi-fi battles that are exclusive to each game. Say, Lugia's theme in OR, possible through save trading.

Yeh now they just give me the option between Lunala or Solgaleo and its working fine. Interesting glitch that is.

If it happened to any other person let me know guys.

EDIT: So im checking my save file on PkHex and in Trainer Data its says my game is UM, when im using US, so check that out if anybody is doing saves trades.

Of course you can get no outlines. I've been using it for the better part of a year on SM, now on USUM, it's fine. They don't detect that stuff.

Me neither, but is better to ask. My reasoning was that it was made for the leak version, not the FreeShop one.

What's the point of the no outlines if playing on the 3DS? On Citra, yes it looks better by a lot, but on the 3DS it looks terrible, especially when it comes to some stuff like Ultra Necrozma! You can't even see the damn thing, it's just a white/golden figure:/

I got accustomed to it to the point where outlines is so jarring. My eyes just became more suited to no outlines. It makes most of the pokemon look better, and the people. "Most" is now official, I will admit Ultra Necrozma looks unseemly without outlines. One bad egg, in this case, doesn't ruin the basket.

I still prefer outlines on the 3DS version for most things, but I can understand what you mean, cutscenes especially look pretty nice without outlines and a lot of sprites too!

Hi Guys. I encountered a strange issue today in Pokemon Ultra Sun. Anyway, I used PkHex to put Necrozma Ultra form into my game. When I loaded save, he looked like he/it should. I saved game, and closed/exited game. When I went to load save, Necrozma was reverted back to its normal form. Is this normal? Is there a way I can keep Necrozma in Ultra form, like give it a held item or something? Thoughts and help greatly appreciated

Necrozma's Ultra forme is only usable in battle and only if it holds it's Z-crystal. If it does, during battle, on the first turn it's used, it can turn into the Ultra forme similarly to a mega evolution, then from second turn and on it can use it's Z-move. Because it works like mega evolution, it's base speed goes from 77 to 129 at the top of the priority ladder, so it doesn't matter. So basically, you can't have Ultra forme one outside of battle and why would you even want it?

You can, but why do it? Just catch it in the game and you get the crystal automatically! It's called Ultranecrozium or something...

Thanks so much for the info! I forgot about the Z-Crystals, thought it was strange when I set Necrozma to Ultra Form in PkHex and he/it reverted back to normal.

Just finished the game. Sophocles is supposed to come to your house and tell you about Team Rainbow Rocket, but this event does not start for me.

The closest thing that has happened, however, is Ultra Recon Squad telling me of the Ultra Beasts coming into Alola.

Any way I can trigger the Rocket storyline?

The Rainbow Rocket episode starts after you finish the Ultra Recon Squad part. Go to Poni Breaker Coast and head north (to that area that unlocks post game), same as in Sun/Moon where you went to the Battle Tree. There's an event that happens, you get Type:Null (save before if you want specific nature, it's FORCED on you), then you have to catch two of your version's new UBs (eg: Stakataka in UM), then the next day, the RR episode starts...
