Ya' mean that you open the disc by My computer -> Your disc, or IMGburn says that?

Ah heck, insert the disc...

I had test mode ticked. But when I put it into my Wii, it just said that an error had occurred and all that bullplop.

what error do you get?
On the Wii? Well, there was nothing on the disc when I got the error, but I got:

An error has occurred. Please eject the disc and power off the system. Please refer to the Wii Instruction Manual for more information.

It was something like that. If I get it when there's something on the disc then i'll scream. Loud.

Pop the disc into your comp and go to IMGburn. Click burn. Wait it to initialize disc. If it says "Empty" then yeah, your burner is dead. If it's "something on the disc" then...
A) Firmware of the Wii - which do you have?
B) Your burner may be still dead...

My burner isn't dead. If it was then i'd send it back to Dell because I've not even had my laptop for a year. The DVD burner came in it. So it isn't particularly good, but it'll do the job (hopefully).

ImgBurn is on 99% now anyway...

Sounds like the burner of yours have gone into next world.

No, he had test mode ticked. Just un-tick test mode and it will burn just fine.

This.

Basically, what Test Mode does is tests the ISO without burning it to the physical medium (DVD -/+ R).
Test Mode is pretty much useless for Wii ISO files. Just burn it at 4x without Test Mode enabled and it should be fine.
Your computer may not read the Wii disc properly, which is perfectly normal. Just put it in your Wii and test it that way.

Err #001
An unauthorized device has been detected.

AGH! What can I do to the disc now to make it work, or has this been a waste of a disc? Also, WHAT DO I DO?

Test mode = Fake burn

I wouldn't verify either for that matter, your PC DVD rom tollerances are a lot higher than the Wii so even if it verifies in the PC, it's no guarantee the Wii will like it.

Then the second option unless you have 3.3
I have 3.3. I updated yesterday.

But I found an Error #001 fix and applied it and i'm currently burning. If it doesn't work then i'll scream even louder.

So you've now used 2 discs to get one game working, you might as well have just burnt the Wiikey update and used the original game you burnt.

I've wasted 2 now, the 2nd disc didn't work. An error has occurred message cam up again. But if I updated the WiiKey, would it definitely work?

Yas Gecko ridds out of the check for trucha.
But...you can downgrade your wii to 3.2 using downgrader and run these from menu.
