Guys, a guy recently gave me his 3ds for fixing purpose.

This guy broke the two l-r flat cables and the upper screen does not work (it has the backlight but does not display anything).

The l-r issue can be easily fixed buying new cables (very cheap on chinese sites).

What can I do to fix the display? I'm not sure it is broken so I do not want to buy a replace for nothing.

As usual, thank you.

UPDATE: I disassembled the device and I found that the LCD issue was simply related to the flat cable that was not properly connected, so one problem solved. Now I need to order the l-r flat cables and everything should be fine. Could you advice me on a good site to buy these replacement parts?

Thank you for your answer.

Where do I find a back cover with screws? See the image, it's a mess to keep the device closed without screws :S

Oh, most of the full cases I saw were ~ $10usd so it's not *that* bad if you get free shipping.
But yeah, bricked 3ds could work too.

Weird, it said free shipping on the post. I'm sure you'll find something that works, if not something makeshift.

Because you are from USA while I'm from Europe and the browser knows it so for me I have to pay additional 10 dollars :S.

Anyway I'll let you know something, sure I'm not giving up on this, it would be a shame to not use this device just for two broken flat cables and a back cover[emoji14]
