how do you upload the screenshots taken with luma CFW to the PC? I'm wondering if there is a way that doesn't require me to remove the microSD card, but I don't know how that would work.

I assume you are talking about screenshots made with Rosalina Menu? Not sure where does it save those screenshots, perhaps on the Luma folder? Somewhere on the sd card? you need to look for them.. And you can either use the official micro sd management method or use ftpd. Look at this thread here about it.

If youre talking about screenshots taken with Rosalina, those are saved to /luma/screenshots on your 3ds' sd card. Two are saved at a time, one for the top screen, and one for the bottom. They should have "top" or "bot" at the end of their file names to help signify which screen.

EDIT: IDK how to do it without removing the sd card, but I do know there are a few FTP (File Transfer Protocol) homebrew apps for the 3ds that you could look into.

The screenshots could be in 2 places, depending where you got luma
SD:/luma/screenshots
CTR_NAND:/rw/luma/screenshots
You could transfer them using 3dshell with ftp with your pc or smarphone
