Hi All,

Just installed CFW on to a 3DS XL (Hard mod) using a 16GB SD card. The original 4GB card is almost full and doesn't have enough room for the homebrew apps so I copied across all the games onto the 16GB card but they don't show up! I'm guessing Nintendo have some copyright settings to stop this.

Is there any way to transfer the games from the original card to the 16GB card?

Thanks

Dan

the games are stored in the "nintendo 3ds" folder . . . copy all contents of your old sd card to your pc . . . then from your pc to the new sd card

i have not done that method and will take a look to see if i can grasp why . . . but it sounds like somewhere along the way you formatted your console and/or unlinked nands and/or unlinked nnid

do you have a nand backup from before homebrew by chance?

of course you could simply use freeshop to get the games . . . so . . . ?

edit nothing in the guide would have led to this ... i am at a loss as for the cause

i forget where i found this but it worked for me look in Nintendo 3DS folder and see if you have 2 folders with a lot of random numbers and letters. If you have two delete the small one and it should work.

HOW ABOUT FORMAT IT
This post right here.
Try booting to GodMode9 and formatting the SD card through GodMode9
1: Boot into GodMode9
2: Press the Home button and select "More..."
3: Select "SD format menu
4: Select "No EmuNAND"
Then follow the rest from there.
Once that's done, copy the content from your 4GB to your 16GB
