I'm thinking about upgrading from 6.72 to 7.02, mainly because running the Linux payload gives me KPs a lot more than I like. I know that 7.02 has 'almost no KPs' when loading HEN, but when loading other payloads like booting to Linux:

1. Does it take several attempts to get the Linux payload to work after the exploit is loaded?
2. Do KPs happen if you run any payload (eg. HEN or Linux again) after you boot back into Orbis?

Also, are there any guides to backing up and restoring my 6.72 firmware if I decide I don't want to use 7.02 anymore?

From what I know, to revert to your previous FW you need to replace the console SysCon chip to workaround the flash write protection, so it requires the right equipment and skills to attempt it.
