I have some questions I need answered, referencing the internal HDD & swapping/replacing it out.

1. Which type of HDD are compatible with slim version of ps3 model #CECH-2001A? (i know its a laptop hdd)

2. What is the size limit of the hdd that the ps3 can take? 640GiB~1TB~2TB~3TB?

3. Is there an easier way to keep my trophies like ftp and copy some folders to pc and then back to ps3.

Solution
1. Any 2.5" HDD (laptop size yea) with an rpm of 5400 or better
2. 2TB
3. The trophies are stored online with your psn account, so if you just syncronize them on the old hdd and log in to psn on the new hdd and syncronize the trophies there, they should all be back.

btw I changed my hdd too.

They only sell laptop size hard drives up to 1 tb currently
and the 1 tb ones are larger than the other hard drives so they will not fit into the ps3 unless u wanna use extention cords to hook it up
