Hacking Upgrade With No Internet?

I just got a call from a budy of mine and asked if there is a way to upgrade a Wii from 3.4u to 4.0u without the Wii conected to the internet and not using any Wii Disc.

That guide is only for non-LU64 users, cause it installs CIOScorp, and you know what happens to LU64 users who try to install CIOScorp on their Wii's...??

EDIT: instead I will install manually with Wad Manager the IOSes 60-61 and then the SysMenu 4.0 (in that exact order)

You can use NUS Downloader to create wads of

IOS60
IOS61
System Menu v4xx (Make sure to choose the correct version for your region)
Latest Shop Channel

Then install them with wad manager.

he said not via a disc. just use NUSD to download all the 4.0 IOS (not sure exactly which ones are required) and the 4.0 System Menu. If you dont have internet, there's no need for shop channel.
