Hacking Upgrade to 4.1

I currently have softmodded 3.2E system and wish to update system menu to 4.1E. Have Bootmi installed as boot2 and all other usual softmod stuff. Whats the best way to simply update the system menu and still keep all softmod stuff.

Install IOS60 and then system menu 4.1e with dop-ios or get the wads from nusd and install with wad manager IOS then menu

Am i correct in thinking that using dop-ios this can all be done online and that IOS60 needed is v6174 which is non stubbed?
