I just finished setting up a new switch and upgraded the EMU from 3.0.0 to 10.0.3. I had 2 questions.

on first boot into Atmos (12) post upgrade I was promoted that there was a controller update ready to apply. Should I apply it? Any downside to doing so, or not doing so?

do I need to re-pull my keys (biskeys and/or prod keys) now that I am on a higher OS version?

thanks.

The controller updates will semi-brick your Joy-Cons if you soldered pins 9 & 10 together. BIS keys are console-unique however the other keys, notably the master keys, do change with every major firmware version. Regardless, it is still not necessary to dump keys a second time as aside from the BIS keys, they are only ever used for decrypting games.
