Hi! I have a soft-modded 3.2U Wii.
I tried entering the shop channel today, and I realized I couldn't enter without updating my firmware...
I don't purchase stuff from the shop channel very often, but I do every now and then, and want the shop channel feature back.
So, which firmware should I update to? How do I update my firmware, without losing my homebrew, etc? (A noob friendly guide would be appreciated)
Can I still play back up games on newer firmware? =X
Will I still be able to use cIOScorp (This is the thing that let's me play back up games via disc channel, right? It's been a while...) and preloader?
Thanks in advance. ;D

Where can I find your guide? NVM, your sig wasn't showing up before for some reason.
I don't remember the rules very well, but I'm assuming I can't ask for IOS30?
Will my cioscorp/preloader, etc, still work? =X

I was just reading your guide, and it says I need an SD card with 700+ MB free, I have a 512MB SD card. =X
Can I use a SDmicro ---> SD converter thing, or a USB stick?

you can use adapter to turn micro sd to a regular sd card but you cant use a usb stick.
Cool, thanks!
Just finished updating, your guide was great, I had no problems during the installation.
My only concern is, I can no longer play back up games via disc channel. =X

"Unable to read the disc.
Check the Wii Operations Manual
for help troubleshooting."

I've tried both Wii, and GCN back up discs.
They work fine when I use a back up launcher. =X

Previously (As in, before I updated, I had it installed). So I have to reinstall it? Do you know where I can find a nice guide on how to install cioscorp? It's been a while.
