ROM Hack Upgrade firmware on 3DS XL

I have a 3DS XL with firmware 6.2.0-12U. Is there any reason not to go ahead and update it? I have a SKY3DS (not working yet) and an ACE3DS PLUS (working). The nag messages are not too annoying, but as both the flashcards work with the latest firmware, maybe I should go ahead and update. Thanks.

You can use Rxtools to get DLC and Eshop Only games so don´t update even if you have sky3ds also some games doesn´t work on sky3ds but in cfw
