Hacking Upgrade Emunand Luma 3d

I have luma3d and my firmware is 9.2,i don't know how to update emunand
Do Emunand start automatically when i turn on the console?
For example if i turn on the 3ds and i go to the Console Setting then i update the console,i am updating the emunand or sysnand?

Make sure your in emunand...look at the system settings.
