my friend who has not upgraded his softmod for some time is having an issue trying to upgrade.
we tried to run the sticky on softmod any version, but the email forward is not sending the files or maybe im not doing it correctly

he has the newest version of hb channel/browser.

we installed bootmi boot2 but cant access it, for some reason the menu only showed up once. but it does flash twice upon startup.

i then tried to install bootmi as ios. but that did not work either , for some reason it wont show in the menu

but now we are stuck trying to upgrade to a version that is acceptable.

    4.1? or 4.2

Stay at 3.2. No need to update.

in order to access bootmii as boot2, u need to have a bootmii.ini file saved in the "SD:\Bootmii" folder along with the files from the following link:
    http://static.hackmii.com/bootmii_sd_files.zip

is your SD card set up this way?

it doesn't send files....you send a blank email to the address listed....it replies with a link to a fileshare site where you download the files.....

that guide will get you to where you want to go....assuming 4.2 is acceptable....

if it truly is not working....xFlak's Modmii tutorial is equally as good (if not better)....http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=207126

edit: Firefox doesn't display xflak's signature link very well...so i pasted the URL instead....
