Hacking updating?

I too am unsure of this.
I have a D2Pro9 installed. Never played with softmod or preloader etc.
I have HBC installed and run ISO off the USB Loader.

Do I actually need to update to FW 4.0?
Everything receny (madworld, SSBB, mario cart) all work perfectly.

oh mah gah guess what i did the 4.0u update to my modded wii online and it worked like a charm...i didnt know that u can do that to modded wiis cool and the guy at the store was gonna charge me 20 bucks to update... :|

oh yeah sorry again for double posting but i burned an iso called boomblox multi5 and its asking my wii to update even though im already 4.0u and the same stuff happens to me when i insert tatsunoko vs capcom what do i do?

Do you have an NTSC Wii? Because those sound like PAL-games. NEVER update your Wii with games that aren't from the same region as your Wii!

For fucking sake, DO NOT Double post. Always remember this is Wii Hacking section not blog section.

Your Wii is NTSC (4.0U. U is NTSC)

The game's region should be noted in the release's name. If it ain't, check using an app (Forgot the name).

Also, if you're like,too paranoid, stay away from this updating stuff.
